Crabbing Days Out, Made Easy

Real spots, tested by a real family. Find the best places to crab in the UK — with parking, tides, and the nearest ice cream all sorted for you.

Blakeney Quay, Norfolk

Hi, I’m Simon 🦀

I absolutely love crabbing with my kids on our family holidays — it’s simple, exciting, and gets us all outdoors.

But I soon realised there wasn’t one good place online that listed the best crabbing spots, what facilities they have, or how to do it safely. So I decided to research it all myself and build this site — every spot is somewhere I’ve genuinely visited, or had detailed reports from people who have.

Found a spot we’ve not covered? Let me know.

This Month’s Pick

Blakeney Quay, Norfolk

Ramshackle charm, old wooden piers, and crabs by the bucketload — over 100 in one afternoon on a good day. One of our favourite family spots in the UK.
